De Gea’s career story has been a wonderful one from his days at Atletico Madrid to being part of the great Sir Alex Ferguson’s team, down to the final stages of his Manchester United career being part of the Ten Hag era.

De Gea spent two seasons at Atletico Madrid as a teenager. He played across five competitions for the club in which he made 84 appearances in total and kept 23 clean sheets. He conceded a total of 112 goals, averaging 1.33 goals conceded per match.

David de Gea’s time at Manchester United is one of the longest from any goalkeeper in the Premier League’s history and the table above confirms it.
